Fieberbrunn

Fieberbrunn is a mountain village in the Austrian Tyrol, located in the PillerseeTal region at the foot of the Wildseeloder massif. The village forms part of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area, one of the largest in Austria, popular in winter for its varied slopes suited to both beginners and experienced skiers, as well as for its well-known off-piste route down the Wildseeloder. In summer, Fieberbrunn serves as a base for hiking and mountain biking, with direct access to alpine trails and the Wildsee lake, reachable by cable car. The village retains a traditional Tyrolean character, with a historic centre, timber chalets and a quieter atmosphere compared to some busier resorts in the area. The surroundings also offer lake swimming and family-friendly walks. Nearby Kitzbühel and St. Johann in Tirol are easily reached for day trips. The alpine climate ensures reliable snow cover in winter and mild temperatures in summer, making Fieberbrunn a versatile destination for holidays throughout the year.
