Bertrambois

Bertrambois is a small rural village in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, in the Grand Est region of France, close to Lunéville and not far from Nancy. This area, known as the Lunévillois, features a gently rolling landscape combining farmland, meadows and woodland, typical of the Lorraine countryside. The village offers a peaceful, green setting well suited to walking and rambling, particularly along the surrounding forest paths and country lanes. Its proximity to the Vosges mountains also makes it a good starting point for excursions into more rugged, mid-mountain scenery. Culturally, the Lorraine region boasts a rich historical heritage, with the town of Lunéville and its château nearby, as well as Nancy, famous for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Place Stanislas. The semi-continental climate brings mild summers and cooler winters, ideal for outdoor pursuits such as hiking and cycling. Bertrambois therefore provides a quiet base from which to explore the Lorraine countryside and its regional heritage, within an unspoilt and sparsely built-up environment, away from the busier tourist routes of the wider region.
