La Voge-les-Bains

La Voge-les-Bains, formerly known as Bains-les-Bains, is a spa town in the Vosges département, in the Grand Est region of France. Set among the wooded hills typical of the Vosges foothills, it is crossed by the Bagnerot stream, which adds to the village's tranquil charm. The town has been known since Roman times for its warm springs, which led to the development of a thermal spa still in operation today, specialising in rheumatology and phlebology treatments. The town centre retains architectural traces of its spa-town heritage, including thermal buildings and older houses reflecting its history. The surrounding countryside offers opportunities for walking and rambling, as well as visits to nearby villages and forests. The climate is temperate and fairly humid, typical of the Vosges massif, with cool winters and mild summers. La Voge-les-Bains provides a peaceful base for relaxing breaks, thermal cures or exploring the wider Vosges region, within easy reach of Épinal and Plombières-les-Bains.
