Douchy-Montcorbon

Douchy-Montcorbon is a commune in the Loiret department, formed by the merger of the villages of Douchy and Montcorbon, located in the Gâtinais natural region of Centre-Val de Loire. This rural area, characterised by vast arable plains and pockets of woodland, offers a peaceful setting ideal for countryside stays. The commune lies close to Montargis, a town known for its canals and historic heritage, as well as the Loing river and the Briare Canal, which provide opportunities for waterside walks, fishing and cycling. The Gâtinais region is also known for its local produce, particularly saffron and honey.
