Le clerjus

Le Clerjus is a small rural village in the Vosges department, nestled within the Vosges mountain range close to Plombières-les-Bains and Remiremont. The surrounding landscape is typically hilly, combining forests, meadows and streams characteristic of the Vosges foothills. Its location provides easy access to nearby thermal spa towns, notably Plombières-les-Bains, renowned for its baths dating back to Roman times, as well as to the hiking trails of the Vosges massif. The area is well suited to outdoor pursuits such as walking, mountain biking and nature exploration throughout the year, while the higher ground nearby allows for winter sports at the region's ski resorts. The semi-continental, humid climate brings cool winters and mild summers, supporting dense forests of fir and beech trees. Le Clerjus therefore offers a peaceful base from which to explore the natural and thermal heritage of the Vosges, away from urban bustle yet within reasonable reach of the main roads connecting Épinal and Remiremont, the region's principal towns.
