Isches

Isches is a small rural village in the Vosges department, in the Grand Est region, located in the south-west of this Lorraine territory. The village sits within a gently rolling landscape typical of the Vosges foothills, combining meadows, woodland and small streams, offering a peaceful setting well suited to rest and walking. Its location is convenient for the spa towns of Vittel and Contrexéville, well known for their mineral water springs and wellness facilities, as well as for Neufchâteau, a sub-prefecture with a wider range of shops and services. The surrounding area lends itself well to walking and cycling, thanks to a network of country lanes running through hedgerows and woods. Nature lovers will appreciate the quiet of this sparsely built-up area, still shaped by traditional farming. The climate is semi-continental, with mild to warm summers and cooler winters that can bring snow.
