Vilosnes haraumont

Vilosnes-Haraumont is a small rural commune in the Meuse department, in the Grand Est region, formed by the merger of the villages of Vilosnes and Haraumont. It lies in the Meuse valley, a few kilometres from Dun-sur-Meuse and around thirty minutes from Verdun, a city closely linked to the history of the First World War and home to numerous memorial sites, including former battlefields, the ossuary and historic forts. The surrounding landscape is typical of northern Meuse, featuring farmland, meadows and woodland well suited to walking and countryside rambles.
