Sancy

Sancy is a small village in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, in the Grand Est region of France, not to be confused with the Sancy massif in the Auvergne. This quiet Lorraine village sits amid the gentle hills and woodland typical of this part of eastern France. The surrounding countryside is well suited to walking and cycling, offering a chance to explore the local rural heritage and neighbouring villages. Its proximity to towns such as Nancy and Toul makes it easy to combine the tranquillity of the Lorraine countryside with visits to more urban cultural attractions, including Nancy's renowned Art Nouveau architecture and the fortifications of Toul.
