La bussiere

La Bussière is a small commune in the Loiret department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, located in the Gâtinais français area, close to the Briare canal. It is best known for its château, sometimes referred to as the 'fishermen's castle', which houses a museum dedicated to freshwater fishing along with kitchen gardens and a landscaped park open to visitors. The village itself is modest in size, offering a quiet rural setting amid ponds, woodland and farmland typical of this part of the Gâtinais.
