Cravant

Cravant is a small village in the Loiret department (45190), in the Centre-Val de Loire region, within the Giennois area, close to Briare and its well-known canal linking the Loire to the Loing. The village offers a peaceful rural setting typical of this part of the Loire Valley, surrounded by hedgerows, woodland and waterways. Its proximity to the Loire makes it ideal for outdoor pursuits such as walking and cycling, particularly along the Loire à Vélo cycle route that runs through the region. Heritage enthusiasts can visit the Briare canal bridge just a few kilometres away, as well as the Loire Valley landscapes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temperate oceanic climate brings mild summers and cool winters, ideal for year-round nature breaks. The surrounding area, between Gien and Briare, also offers local markets, regional produce and an authentic atmosphere away from urban bustle.
