Boisseaux

Boisseaux is a rural village in the Loiret department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, set within the Beauce, a vast cereal-growing plain stretching south of Paris and west of Orléans. The village is characterised by open farmland typical of this agricultural area, well known for wheat and other grain production. Its quiet, largely unspoilt surroundings make it a suitable base for a countryside stay, away from urban bustle. Orléans, around thirty kilometres away, is easily reached and offers a rich historic heritage, including its Gothic cathedral and old town along the Loire river. The area around Boisseaux also allows visitors to explore other Beauce villages, along with walking and cycling routes through fields and small hamlets.
