Ascheres-le-Marché is a village in the Loiret department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, situated on the edge of the Beauce plain and close to the Orléans forest, one of the largest state-owned woodlands in France. This setting provides a peaceful rural environment, well suited to walking and cycling, as well as forest rambles where varied wildlife can be spotted.
