St-Maur

St-Maur is a village in the Indre department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, located right next to Châteauroux, the county town. This part of the Berry region is characterised by a typically rural landscape of farmland, hedgerows and small waterways, offering a peaceful setting ideal for countryside stays. Its proximity to Châteauroux provides easy access to the shops, services and cultural amenities of a mid-sized town, while still enjoying a quieter setting on the outskirts. The climate is a mild continental type, with relatively gentle summers and cool winters, typical of central France.
