Les Mosses

Les Mosses is a mountain resort in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, located on a pass linking the Pays-d'Enhaut region to the Aigle area within the Vaudois Alps. Sitting at around 1,400 metres above sea level, it enjoys a typical alpine climate, with snowy winters and mild summers well suited to hiking. The resort is popular for its family-friendly ski area, suitable for beginners and families alike, as well as its cross-country skiing trails and snowshoeing paths. Outside the winter season, the surrounding region offers numerous hiking and mountain-biking routes, revealing pre-alpine landscapes of pastureland, forests and peaks. Les Mosses also serves as a crossing point between several valleys in Vaud, making it a favoured stop for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. As a mid-altitude destination, it remains quieter than larger alpine resorts, making it well suited to family holidays and stays centred around outdoor activities throughout the year.
