Sautens

Sautens is a village in the Austrian Tyrol, located in the district of Imst at the entrance to the Ötztal valley. Nestled among the alpine ranges, this small locality enjoys a typical mountain setting, with the Ötztaler Ache river running through the valley. Its position makes it a gateway to better-known resorts such as Oetz and Sölden, while offering a quieter, more residential atmosphere. The alpine climate brings mild summers, ideal for hiking along the many marked trails crossing the surrounding alpine meadows, and snowy winters that provide access to nearby ski areas, including Hochoetz.
