Anjouin

Anjouin is a small rural commune in the Indre department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, at the heart of the Berry area. This territory, characterised by rolling hedgerow landscapes and cultivated fields, offers a peaceful, green setting valued for its distance from urban bustle. The commune lies close to Valençay, known for its historic château, its AOP goat's cheese and its vineyard. The surrounding countryside is well suited to walking and cycling along rural lanes, through a landscape typical of the northern Boischaut area, dotted with small valleys and woodland.
