Horni Plana

Horní Planá is a small town in South Bohemia, Czech Republic, set on the shores of Lake Lipno within the Šumava region (the Bohemian Forest), close to the Austrian border. It is known as the birthplace of the writer Adalbert Stifter, commemorated by a small local museum. Thanks to its lakeside setting, the town serves as a popular base for water-based activities such as swimming, sailing and paddleboarding, as well as cycling along the scenic path that runs around the lake.
