Wladyslawowo

Władysławowo is a coastal town in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, located at the tip of the Hel Peninsula, between the Baltic Sea and Puck Bay. This dual maritime setting makes it a popular destination for water sports, particularly kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing, with the beaches at Chałupy and Cyplowa well known for their favourable winds. The town also serves as a gateway to the Hel Peninsula nature reserve, reachable by train, bus or boat, and noted for its dunes, coastal forest and the nearby Rozewie lighthouse. The local fishing harbour brings life to the town, with stalls selling smoked and fresh fish, a speciality of the region. The summer atmosphere is lively, with a strong influx of tourists in July and August, while the rest of the year remains quieter, centred around fishing and local life. The Baltic maritime climate brings mild summers and cool, damp winters. Władysławowo makes a convenient base for exploring the Pomeranian coast, with its fine sandy beaches, pine forests and landscapes typical of Poland's Baltic seaboard.
