Sztutowo

Sztutowo is a village in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland, located on the Vistula Spit (Mierzeja Wiślana), between the Baltic Sea and the Vistula Lagoon. The village is chiefly known as the site of the Stutthof Museum, a memorial established at the former Nazi concentration camp founded in 1939, which today serves as a place of historical remembrance and education. Beyond its historical significance, the surrounding area offers a landscape typical of the Baltic coast, with fine sandy beaches, wooded dunes and pine forests stretching along the shoreline.
