Steinach

Steinach is a small municipality in Baden-Württemberg, located in the Ortenaukreis district, nestled in the Kinzig valley within the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). This village, surrounded by wooded hills and pastureland, offers a typical natural setting for the region, ideal for hiking and cycling along the Kinzig river. Its proximity to towns such as Haslach im Kinzigtal and Offenburg makes it easy to explore other attractions of the Black Forest, including forest trails, traditional hip-roofed farmhouses and small local distilleries. The climate is temperate, with mild summers and cool winters, supporting outdoor activities throughout the year, including nearby cross-country skiing during the winter season.
