Fulham is a residential district in south-west London, bordered by the River Thames and known for its relaxed atmosphere, quieter than central London. The area is served by Fulham Road and New King's Road, lined with shops, cafés and restaurants. Fulham Broadway is the main commercial hub, home to a shopping centre and a District line Underground station. Football fans will recognise Stamford Bridge, home ground of Chelsea Football Club, located on the edge of the district.
