Salo

Salo is a town in south-west Finland, located in the Southwest Finland region, roughly midway between Turku and Helsinki. Situated along the Uskelanjoki river, the town was formed through the merger of several rural municipalities, giving it a blend of urban and countryside character, surrounded by extensive farmland and forests. Salo is particularly known for its industrial heritage, especially in electronics, having long been home to Nokia operations.
