Jämsä

Jämsä is a small town in the Central Finland region, set within the Päijänne lake district, home to one of the country's largest lakes. The surrounding landscape is typical of inland Finland, with dense forests, numerous lakes and unspoiled nature, making it a peaceful destination throughout the year. The nearby Himos resort is well known for its downhill and cross-country skiing in winter, as well as its downhill mountain biking trails and hiking paths in summer, making it popular for both winter sports and outdoor summer activities.
