Egernsund

Egernsund is a small harbour town in Denmark, located in Sønderborg Municipality in southern Jutland, on the shores of the Flensburg Fjord. Historically known for its brick and tile industry, still reflected in some of the town's buildings and its former craft traditions, Egernsund retains an authentic, quiet character away from major tourist crowds. The Egernsund Bridge, spanning the fjord, is a notable local landmark and connects the town to its surroundings. The natural setting, combining shoreline, woodland and typical rural landscapes of southern Jutland, is well suited to walking, fishing and water-based activities, particularly sailing thanks to the town's position on the Flensburg Fjord.
