Ørsted

Ørsted is a small Danish town in Norddjurs Municipality, in the Central Denmark Region, located on the Djursland peninsula. The town lies close to Randers Fjord and not far from the shores of the Kattegat sea, set within a typical rural landscape of north-eastern Jutland, characterised by farmland, woodland and an indented coastline. The Djursland area is known for its varied natural scenery, sandy beaches and cycling routes that wind through fields and forests. Ørsted serves as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area, including the nearby towns of Grenå and Auning, as well as the protected countryside of Mols Bjerge National Park a little further south.
