Ares

Arès is a town on the Arcachon Bay, in the Gironde department, valued for its natural setting between pine forest and shoreline. The village retains a traditional feel with its oyster port, home to the typical wooden huts found around the bay, evidence of an oyster-farming tradition that remains very much alive in the region. Arès beach, lined with a promenade, offers calm waters well suited to family swimming and water sports such as paddleboarding and sailing.
