Soldeu

Soldeu is a mountain village in the parish of Canillo, Andorra, sitting at around 1,800 metres above sea level. It serves as one of the main gateways to the Grandvalira ski area, the largest in the Pyrenees, which links several sectors offering alpine skiing, snowboarding and family-friendly slopes. In winter, the resort draws visitors keen on winter sports, with a good range of accommodation, restaurants and a lively après-ski scene. The village retains traditional stone architecture, including the Romanesque chapel of Sant Vicenç, a reminder of the area's pastoral past. In summer, Soldeu becomes a popular base for hiking and mountain biking, thanks to a network of trails crossing the surrounding valleys and peaks.
