Acquaseria

Acquaseria is a small hamlet on Lake Como, forming part of the municipality of San Siro in the province of Como, Lombardy. Set on the lake's western shore, the village retains a quiet, unhurried character, set apart from busier tourist spots such as Menaggio, just a short distance away. The settlement stretches along the waterfront, offering open views across the lake towards the Grigne mountains on the opposite side. Typical Lombard lakeside architecture, with its colourful façades and narrow lanes, blends with an unspoilt natural setting well suited to swimming, boating and fishing. Ferry connections make it easy to reach other towns around the lake, making Acquaseria a convenient base for exploring the area without the crowds found in more well-known centres. The surrounding hills also invite hiking, with paths leading up to viewpoints overlooking the water. The mild climate, tempered by the lake's presence, makes for a pleasant stay for much of the year, particularly during spring and autumn, when the light on the water and mountains is especially striking.
