Brenzone

Brenzone sul Garda is a municipality on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, in the province of Verona, Veneto. It comprises several traditional hamlets, including Castelletto, Marniga, Assenza and Magugnano, which retain the character of fishing villages with narrow lanes and small harbours. The area is dominated by the Monte Baldo massif, whose slopes offer walking trails and views over the lake. Terraced olive groves define the landscape, as the region is known for producing DOP Garda olive oil. The mild Mediterranean-style climate, moderated by the lake all year round, also supports citrus cultivation. The shoreline is suited to swimming, sailing and windsurfing, while ferry services connect Brenzone with other towns on the lake, such as Malcesine and Torri del Benaco. The waterfront, dotted with small harbours and promenades, forms the heart of local life, alongside restaurants serving lake fish dishes and small businesses linked to olive oil production.
