Vendays-Montalivet

Vendays-Montalivet is a town in the Médoc area of the Gironde department, in south-west France's Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It comprises the village of Vendays and the seaside resort of Montalivet-les-Bains, situated on the Atlantic coast. The resort is particularly known for its Euronat naturist estate, one of the largest in Europe, drawing visitors from across the continent each year. Montalivet's beach, flanked by dunes and a maritime pine forest, provides a natural setting well suited to walking, cycling and surfing, with the Atlantic swell offering good conditions for water sports. Inland, the countryside is typical of the Médoc, renowned for its vineyards and wine estates, many of which can be visited by car. The town offers facilities geared towards summer tourism, including numerous campsites and holiday residences.
