Lammetu

Lammetu is a small settlement in the Vestland region on Norway's west coast, close to the town of Florø. The area is typical of Norwegian coastal scenery, featuring narrow fjords, scattered islands and steep mountainous terrain that drops straight into the sea. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the climate here is milder than the latitude would suggest, with cool summers and relatively gentle winters, although rainfall is common throughout the year. The surroundings of Florø and the Kinn district lend themselves well to outdoor pursuits such as coastal walking, sea fishing, kayaking and wildlife watching. Boats remain an essential means of getting around in this part of the country, as many islands can only be reached by water.
