Wenns

Wenns is a village in the Austrian Tyrol, located in the Pitztal valley within the Imst district, at an altitude typical of alpine villages in this region. Surrounded by peaks that often exceed 3,000 metres, the village enjoys a well-preserved mountain setting, with the Pitztaler Ache river running through it. The local architecture reflects traditional Tyrolean style, featuring steep-pitched roofs and timber façades characteristic of alpine valley villages. Wenns serves as a convenient starting point for exploring the Pitztal, a valley renowned for its high-mountain scenery and access to the Pitztal glacier, one of Austria's glacier ski areas.
