Balatonkenese

Balatonkenese lies at the north-eastern tip of Lake Balaton, in Hungary's Veszprém county. It is particularly known for the loess cliff running along the shoreline, offering panoramic views over the lake from a purpose-built lookout point. The town has a beach and a small harbour used for sailing and other water sports typical of this part of Balaton. The lakeside is lined with a promenade, popular for walking and cycling, including access to the cycle path that circles the entire lake.
