Brakel

Brakel is a small town in the Höxter district of North Rhine-Westphalia, tucked between the wooded hills of the Egge range and the Nethe valley, at the heart of the Weserbergland region. Its historic centre features a collection of timber-framed houses typical of Westphalia, arranged around an old square that still includes buildings dating back to medieval and early modern times.
