Eisenbach

Eisenbach is a village in the Black Forest region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, sitting at around 800 metres above sea level in the Schwarzwald-Baar district. This mid-mountain settlement enjoys a cool climate and the classic scenery of the area, with fir forests and rolling meadows. Its proximity to Titisee-Neustadt and Furtwangen, home to the German Clock Museum which traces the region's long tradition of clockmaking, makes it a handy base for exploring this local heritage. The altitude and natural surroundings lend themselves well to outdoor pursuits, including hiking in summer and cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter, with numerous marked trails running through the area.
