Stare Juchy

Stare Juchy is a small village in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, within Ełk County, in the heart of the Masuria region, well known for its lakes and forests. The village lies close to Lake Rekąty, set within a quiet rural landscape typical of this part of north-eastern Poland. The wider region is renowned for its dense network of post-glacial lakes, mixed woodland and wetlands, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, fishing and kayaking. Stare Juchy serves as a low-key base for exploring the natural surroundings of Masuria, away from the busier lakeside resorts such as Mikołajki or Giżycko, both within reasonable travelling distance.
