Oybin

Oybin is a village nestled in the Zittau Mountains of Saxony, close to the Czech border, within the Zittau Mountains Nature Park. It is best known for the ruins of Oybin Castle and Monastery, perched atop a rocky outcrop that once inspired the Romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich.
