Plouescat

Plouescat is a coastal town in northern Finistère, Brittany, known for its long sandy beaches such as Grève Blanche and Grève de Poulennou, stretching for several kilometres along the English Channel. The Kernic bay, a protected natural area, is ideal for walks, birdwatching and shellfish gathering during low spring tides. The town centre retains a 16th-century covered market hall, a reminder of its rural and maritime trading past.
