Kąty Rybackie

Kąty Rybackie is a village on the Vistula Spit (Mierzeja Wiślana), in the Pomeranian region of Poland, lying between the calm waters of the Vistula Lagoon (Zalew Wiślany) and the Baltic Sea. This former fishing village retains traces of its maritime past, including a small harbour where a handful of traditional fishing boats still moor. It sits close to Krynica Morska, the busier seaside resort on the spit. Thanks to its position between two bodies of water, the area is popular for sailing and windsurfing on the lagoon side, while the Baltic coast offers wilder sandy beaches backed by pine woods. A cycle path runs the length of the spit, linking Kąty Rybackie to nearby villages such as Sztutowo and Krynica Morska. The climate is typically Baltic, with mild, breezy summers well suited to watersports. The area remains relatively untouched by mass tourism, offering a peaceful natural setting of reeds, dunes and pine forest, making it well suited to quiet, nature-focused stays away from the crowds.
