Starigrad-Paklenica

Starigrad-Paklenica is a small coastal town in Dalmatia, nestled at the foot of the Velebit mountain range and at the entrance to Paklenica National Park, known for its karst gorges, limestone cliffs popular with climbers, and hiking trails leading up towards the Velebit peaks. The town stretches along a rocky coastline facing the islands of Pag and Rab, providing a pleasant setting for swimming and watersports. The Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers, supports vineyards and olive groves on the surrounding hillsides. The town retains a quiet, unhurried atmosphere, well away from the bustle of larger resorts, with a seafront promenade lined with terraces and local shops.
