San Lorenzo al Mare

San Lorenzo al Mare is a small town in the province of Imperia, in Liguria, along the Riviera dei Fiori. The village stretches along the coastline, set between the Mediterranean Sea and hills covered with olive groves and flower cultivations typical of the area. Its marina, built on a former railway site, welcomes fishing boats and pleasure craft, giving the town a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The seafront promenade forms part of the Pista Ciclabile del Ponente Ligure, a cycle path of several kilometres built along the old railway line, allowing visitors to walk or cycle to neighbouring villages such as Cipressa or Santo Stefano al Mare.
