Portbail

Portbail-sur-Mer is a commune in the Cotentin peninsula, in the Manche department of Normandy, situated close to the west coast facing the English Channel. The village is built around an estuary where two rivers meet, creating a broad expanse of sand that is exposed at low tide, ideal for shellfish gathering and, depending on the wind, land yachting or kitesurfing.
