Skrea Strand

Skrea Strand is the beach area of Falkenberg, on Sweden's west coast in the Halland region, facing the waters of the Kattegat. Stretching for several kilometres, this fine sandy beach is among the most popular on the Swedish coastline, drawing families as well as those seeking long walks by the sea. The Kallbadhuset, a historic bathhouse built on stilts, is a notable feature, reflecting the early 20th-century Swedish seaside bathing tradition and still used today for cold-water bathing and wellness activities. Nearby, cycle paths, playgrounds and green spaces line the seafront. The town of Falkenberg itself, just a short distance away, is known for salmon fishing in the River Ätran and for its historic centre lined with colourful wooden houses.
