Saumur

Saumur, a town in the Loire Valley within Maine-et-Loire, is known for its distinctive architecture: a castle overlooking the town and the river, timber-framed houses, and white tuffeau stone façades, alongside religious buildings reflecting a long history tied to river trade and military horsemanship.
