Ternant

Ternant is a small rural village in the Côte-d'Or department, within the Auxois region of Burgundy. The surrounding landscape is typical of this gently rolling countryside, with pastures grazed by Charolais cattle, woodlands and country lanes well suited to walking or cycling. The village lies close to the Burgundy Canal, which winds through the Auxois and offers pleasant waterside walking routes, as well as being near Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, known for its medieval fortress overlooking the valley.
