Lido di Camaiore

Lido di Camaiore is a seaside resort on the Versilia coast in Tuscany, within the province of Lucca, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. It forms the coastal stretch of the municipality of Camaiore, whose historic centre lies a few kilometres inland. The fine sandy beach, lined by a long pedestrian and cycling promenade, features numerous private beach clubs offering sunbeds and parasols, typical of this stretch of the Tuscan coastline. The area enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, with warm summers well suited to swimming. Its central location within Versilia makes it easy to reach Viareggio, known for its carnival, as well as Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta, the latter renowned for its marble-carving workshops. Nature lovers can head to the nearby Apuan Alps, a mountain range offering hiking trails and marble quarries, while Pisa and Lucca are within reach for day-trip cultural excursions. The resort itself provides shops, restaurants and the standard tourist facilities expected of a family-oriented Italian seaside destination.
