Vodice

Vodice is a seaside resort in central Dalmatia, Croatia, located a few kilometres north-west of Šibenik. The town is built around a lively marina and a long seafront promenade, lined with pebble beaches and coves ideal for summer swimming. The atmosphere remains typical of small Dalmatian coastal towns, with a compact old centre featuring narrow lanes and terraces facing the Adriatic. Vodice also serves as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area: the renowned waterfalls of Krka National Park lie roughly a 30-minute drive away, offering turquoise pools and well-marked trails set within Mediterranean vegetation. The region is equally suited to boat trips to nearby islands and classic Croatian coastal activities such as sailing or diving. Out of season, the town settles into a quieter pace, valued for its peaceful streets and less crowded waterfront.
