Vodice/Tribunj

Vodice and Tribunj are two coastal towns in central Dalmatia, located a few kilometres north-west of Šibenik, Croatia. Vodice is a lively seaside resort, known for its palm-lined promenade, a marina that welcomes numerous pleasure boats, and well-maintained pebble beaches suited to swimming and watersports. The town offers a fairly active nightlife during the summer season, with restaurants, bars and shops along the seafront. Tribunj, a smaller neighbouring fishing village, retains a more authentic character with its narrow lanes, small harbour and an islet linked to the mainland by a bridge, where an old tower still stands. The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers, making it well suited to beach holidays from June to September. The surrounding area provides convenient access to Krka National Park, known for its waterfalls, as well as to the Kornati Islands, an archipelago popular for sailing and diving. Local cuisine highlights seafood, olive oil and Dalmatian wines, reflecting the typical character of Croatia's coastline.
