Trinite sur Mer

La Trinité-sur-Mer is a port town in the Morbihan department of southern Brittany, recognised as one of France's leading sailing hubs. Its marina, among the largest in the region, hosts numerous boats and has seen well-known sailors pass through, contributing to the town's strong nautical reputation. Regattas and gatherings of sailing boats, including multihulls, are regularly held here. The Crac'h river, which flows into Quiberon Bay at this point, provides a sheltered setting well suited to sailing. The town retains the feel of a traditional Breton harbour, with lively quaysides, sea-related shops and a local market. La Trinité-sur-Mer is also known for oyster farming, with local oysters well regarded in the area. The town lies close to Carnac and its megalithic stone alignments, as well as the Quiberon peninsula, making it a convenient base for exploring this stretch of the Morbihan coastline. Nearby beaches, such as Kerbihan, add to the destination's seaside appeal.
