Ylläsjärvi

Ylläsjärvi is a village in Finnish Lapland, nestled at the foot of the Yllästunturi fell, one of the highest peaks in the region and the focal point of the local ski area. Surrounded by boreal forests and lakes that remain frozen for much of the year, this mountainous setting makes it a popular winter destination for both alpine and cross-country skiing, with a well-regarded network of slopes benefiting from reliable snow cover from November to May.
